last lap questions, I promise

is there anything I should ask (or, write down and have my H ask) immediately after the procedure? Can I expect them to tell me what was going on inside me, and make recommendations or is that something for the f/u meeting?

For my grocery list, I have gummy bears, ice cream, jello (that's right, I'm going to eat lots of junk), maybe some soup, Gas-X, stool softener, pads. Anything else?

The RE told my H what he found during the lap since I was still out of it, but DH got it wrong when he told me , so maybe give him a tape recorder or a pen and paper and have him take notes!  After mine I ate a lot of gummy bears and cereal.  Have some bandages on hand, because when you shower they may come off. My incisions were small enough that larger band aids worked.  I had some Tylenol PMs on hand and good thing because the Percocet kept me awake so I wold skip my last dose at night and take the tylenol pms instead.

Your RE will tell you and DH the findings of the lap. DH wrote it down for us, since I most likely wouldn't remember. GL!

Your RE should tell your DH after all is done. If he can remember what he says he should be good if not have him write it down. You will be out of it for a little while after and if your RE says anything to you, you probably won't remember. You will also go over everything at a followup appointment.  Enjoy the junk food! and Good luck!
