Booo! I asked about Jax's head and I was told that at this age we need to give him another month or two of therapy to see how he does. Apparently he's still pretty pliable???? hmmmm....apparently they don't fee the same for Gaven?

Ours was $3300 for Brady.  Insurance has a specific exclusion for helmets.  We could protest it, but the most we would get back is $700.  It's so annoying.

I will say, however, that we could see a HUGE difference in just a week so it's totally worth it!  I'm just glad we only had to get one!

I'm surprised by this.  Most of the time, they want to catch it earlier so the kids don't have to wear the helmet as long.  Brady had his around 6 months.  I wonder if it's because Jax was born at 31 weeks and they are going by the adjusted age??  Brady was born at 37 weeks.

They are going by the 6 months. The sooner they get it the better it will be to fix it. I personally wanted to have it done before his 1st b-day. ?

I feel ya.  Our helmet cost $3000.  We have denied insurance coverage for any of it after 3 appeals to the company.  It was worth it because Marina's head looks great now, but it was a huge cost that we thought might get covered by insurance.  I hope they will cover some of yours.

UGH!  You're lucky!  Maddie's is $3,300.  It'll be ready in 2 weeks.  Hers is blue with sunflowers.  Luckily Lorelai didn't need one.
