milk makes me...

wanna puke. how are you ladies getting your calcium? choking down a huge glass is not working for me. is yogurt/cheese/etc enough? I'll continue to drink it but I'm afraid it's going to start coming back up Ick!

  • Plain yogurt and my PNV's are enough for me.

  • I've been taking Calcium supplement, actually.  I went to GNC and they had a prenatal pack with vitamins, Omega3 and calcium.  Maybe you can try going that route?

    Milk's been sitting pretty well with me actually.  I've been eating a lot of fruit and cereal.  (some Chocolate Nesquik helps too!)

  • the thought of milk makes me wanna hurl too.  which stinks b/c i'm usually a big milk fan.  i can't even put my usual dash of milk in tea w/o gagging. 

    i want cheese like it's goin outta style though.  and i bring yogurts for part of my lunch.  hopefully that, and my PNV's, will be enough.

     

  • I'm a lactard...so my dr. told me 2 tums is fine to get my calcium.
