Does your dr. do Vbacs? My dr. doesn't and I knew that going in so I don't have a choice and will be scheduling the c-section as soon as they tell me it's ok to do so.
I had a c-section last time around. I plan on scheduling one for this time to avoid the worry of it being needed again.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Reasons I should/shouldn't?
That's a question I would ask a qualified medical practitioner and not a bunch of strangers on the internet completely unaware of your medical history and background.
Definitely a question for your doctor. There's an article about VBACs on Time online this week. You might want to check it out. You may have a hard time finding a doctor willing to let you try to deliver vaginally.
Good luck.

Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.
Umm, that's a very important, personal decision. There are a lot of passionate opinions on both sides. But this is ultimately your decision.?
I would hope however, that you would do research so that you can make both a medically and emotionally informed decision about what you want to happen to your body and to your baby.?
I think it is pretty standard procedure for those who had a c-section first time to schedule it the second time. I think the dr. will obviously be able to help you decide what is best.
I will also be having a repeat c-section by my choice. They don't do VBACs here, but if they did I would still go for a c-section based on my experience and worries about VBAC. There is a lot of info online about the benefits/risks..of course some of it is biased, but as above with the previous posters, talk it all over with your doc before you decide.
I will be scheduling a c-section with my doctor. I had a c-section with my son and the hospital that I'm delivering at doesn't do VBAC's. It's in their policy. But like everyone else said I would talk to your doctor b/c they will know what to do and have better information. I actually feel more comfortable knowing that I'm having a c-section than having to go through the 1st experience that I went through.

But hey, that's just me.?

I would start with Googling VBAC. ?
?
?
I'd check with your doc to see if you are a candidate for VBAC.
