I swear, if my daughter wags her finger at my face and tells me "no no no no" one more time...I'll put myself in time out! LOL! Seriously, she has such a sassy attitude! She has tried to also slap me, kick, etc. Any tips?
We are trying to be really careful w/ the saying of no, no no, because we know that this could happen. The same w/ the finger wag- my MIL said no no no no and wagged her finger @ DD when she was like 5 months old and I almost punched her out!
When DD does something that is unsafe we say STOP! not no for this reason...
Haha- I think if you have a sassy one, no matter what words you use or don't use, you're just going to have a sassy one! Tonight for the first time, while DD was crawling up the stairs, she turned around, shook her finger at me and said "Don't" b/c she didn't want me spotting her (she doesn't walk yet, I still worry about the stairs!!).
For the slapping I gave a firm no and walked away- every time. It took 2 days. I am the only one she hit.
