I just went to my dr.'s appt and I am 23 weeks but measuring 26. Is this happening to anyone else? Does this mean my baby is huge or am I further along than they thought?
At 21w5d appointment, my uterus size measured 24 weeks.
I'm kinda freaking out at how big he is going to be. I'm working harder to regulate my weight (it increased fast and early) and praying that we both grew a lot early but that it tapers to "normal" the next 18 weeks!
I've been measuring big since 14 weeks. Its been 4 weeks too big everytime, but my doc said that it is within the range and she's not changing my due date. She said some people just grow a lot a first and then slow down at the end. So no worries

I don't think it means you're further along, they would have told you during your u/s. I saw someone on here that was measuring 46 at 30-some weeks. What did your dr. say about it?
I had an ultrasound at 24 weeks and baby was measuring 27 weeks,in the 95%ile. My due date is not off, I'm just having a big baby. My sister went 2 wks early with both of her kids and they were over 8lbs. Had she gone the full 40 wks they would have been at least 10 lbs. My SIL also had a 10lb baby. I'm a little nervous for the delivery but someone did tell me it doesn't matter how big the baby is,it is all about head size!
Yes, but I'm not worried about it. I've measured 3 weeks ahead since 12 weeks. I have ultrasounds every 4 weeks due to pre-existing hypertension and our little guy has measured perfectly every time so far.
There are other reasons for measuring large too, like fibroids. Your doctor will let you know if there's a problem.
Re: Anyone measuring big?
