I'm not even planning on cooking tonight if that makes you feel better. I do cook and often because I love it. My girls rarely eat it - or at least DD#1 doesn't and DD#2 is going through her vegetarian phase...but I do make an effort. BUT we are now into week three (or is it four?) of one or both of the girls being sick. DD#1 seems to be on the mend as her fever is only around 100 and she even ate some cereal today. She was hovering around 102 for the past three days and refusing to eat anything. DD#2, though, seems to be getting worse. Her cold/teething thing she's had for a week now shows no signs of going away. Combine that with the phlegm and it's making her spit up/throw up a little bit. Needless to say, she's not eating much either. I will probably make them whatever they say they'll eat (which in the end they won't eat anyway) and then let DH and I fend for ourselves if I eat at all. Last night DH and I had spinach dip for munchies and then forgot to eat anything else. I'm just so exhausted emotionally and physically that I can only function and not much else...
Re: You girls put me to shame (re: what's for dinner)
Tonight, we will be having State Fair mini corndogs and Kraft powder macaroni and heese.
Feel better......
Although I am Rachel Ray on most nights of the weeks.
lmao I am with you. Some of those were gourmet meals!
I'm just making baked chicken breast and mash and corn. Definitely mac n cheese night tomorrow though.
Yes, Yes, thank you very much!
Of course, this is what I'll be having tomorrow dah-ling...

Wow, sounds super yummy but I don't know about the whole having to light it on fire deal....
I was waiting for someone to type up a gourmet meal and say it was a Lean Cuisine.
I'm boring lately. I just thaw a meat, make a side (I don't care if it goes with it), and throw a veggie in.
Oh come one...try something a little spicy with danger.
I don't know...
I set the fire alarm off the other day with frozen fish sticks, I think I'll stay away from purposely lighting the meat on fire (lol) .
If I did make those things for dinner, DS probably wouldn't eat it. I can't even get him to eat tacos.
