bad experience last night . . :(

Ugh--so yesterday I ended up with really bad lower stomach and back pains only on one side, I felt like I was going to pass out when i stood, so I called my insurance's advice line who told me to go immediately to the hospital. 

So we go, and I meet with an RNP--she takes a urine test--I go to the lab--and then come back to see her--she looks at me like im and idiot and says--well you are not pregnant so take two motrins.  Im shocked because i took two home preg tests, both were positive, but my first prenatal isnt until the 10th. So I told her I had two positives, and maybe their test was wrong--she looked put out but orderd a blood test ---two hours later, the blood test comes back positive-- 450 hcg--which she then says is only 1-2 days --which didnt make sense to me, so I told her (in pain still), so she schedules a u/s--nothing showed up--Im a mess.  I just looked it up on the american pregnancy website and 450 is apparently normal range for 4-5 weeks preg! I took a tylenol--and just waiting to see my regular doctor.

Im just so tired and upset by this--

What an idiot   Sorry for the long evening!  Have you called your doc this morning?  They might want to see you earlier.

I'm sorry you're going through this...hopefully the doctor can help sort it out.  It could have been a chemical pg...sorry.

I can imagine your frustration. Just try to be calm until your 1st appt. Im sure everything will be fine. GL!!

You should definitely call your doctor immediately, that pain could mean an ectopic pregnancy.

The U/S apparently ruled out an ectopic preg . ..  but the pain is manageable with tylenol, but it is still there-- Im going to try and get an appt later today.
