Oh, Dai -

how did the amigurumi turn out?

Re: Oh, Dai -

  • Ugh, it's still sitting there on the end table, waiting for me. However, I did pick it up the other night to see if I could try a few test stitches. I noticed how tight my edge stitches were and how much of a PITA it was going to be to try and stick the blessed hook in there. So I put it down and haven't touched it since. :(

On a similar note, I'm about to buy this:

  • LMAO I have it at work with black yarn, I'm going to start w/the ninja because it looks easiest.

I made an octopus last night but still have to stitch the legs on & stuff it.

  • Loading the player...
  • OOoo You have to tell me how it is! I'm dying to do the Grim Reaper and the Zombie. Ninja must be done also for DH.
  • I think my favorites are the Knight and the Cleric, and the amazon woman.  They're too freaking funny.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I had to practice making bodies & heads out of scrap yarn, the instructions are a bit advanced for my pea brain.

My mom, however, saw me open it (I got the book for xmas) and yelled at me saying if I make her a cthulu she's disowning me.  (the green alien thing on the cover, it's from H.P. Lovecraft books)

  • Now I'm even more excited to get it. They don't have a lot of pictures so I didn't know all the designs in there.

However I am a little worried now b/c my ami skills are in pure beginner form.
