Yes I kinda stole this from 2nd tri (I lurk), but what are you going to give up/do extra for lent? (Assuming you?usually?give something up/do something extra)

I usually give up sodas, or chips, something unhealthy. ?But then I stopped drinking sodas a couple of years ago, so I can't really do that, and I think it would be wrong to give up food when pg. ?So this year I have decided to give up the Bump. ?I think I'm on it too much to begin with and should spend more of my time with DH when he's home instead of reading up what I've missed though out the day. ?All in all, after today, I'll see most of you mid 2nd tri. ?I've also decided to attend all the Stations of the Cross my church is offering each week until Easter.?

Haha!  That is kind of the way I see it this year.  I am not sure I will give up anything this year.  We shall see.

I'm giving up cigarettes, martinis, my two-seater sports car, skinny pants, lunch meat, coloring my hair, sushi, hot baths, Valium, goat cheese, bleu cheese, wine, rare meat, bars, softball, scuba diving, a trip to Europe, a trip to Patagonia, sailing, sky-diving and 10Ks. ?;)

I'm not going out of my way this year. I've already cut out caffeine, alcohol, sushi, etc...

In the past I've given up "the drink" as my mother likes to call it, but I've already given it up this year, so it's probably going to be french fries.  I'll miss them, but they'll be so good come Easter Sunday!

DH and I are both giving up candy...this include Girl Scout cookies, because my husband has eaten three entire boxes of them in the last week.
