Is the ultrasound a regular ultrasound or a vaginal one? I am still having slightly darker cm because of my last vaginal ultrasound so I really dont want to have to go through that again, but we do want to do the NT scan.
With my first pregnancy it started as a regular one, but they ended up doing a vaginal one because they saw problems and really wanted to get better measurements. I am using a different doctor for this one and it looks like they do vaginal ones....I think it depends on the doctor.....
After a loss at 13wks and years dealing with IF and failed treatments (3 failed IUI and 1 failed IVF), we have been blessed with DS (surprise BFP) and now his little sister (2nd round of clomid and TI) on her way.
The tech decided to do mine transvaginally - but maybe that was because I have extra "padding" around my middle. I think it just depends on the office and the tech doing it. Mine seems to know what she's doing (been doing it for like 20 years) so I just let her do her thing.
Mine today was external. My first at 6w3d was vaginal. My uterus is tipped back but I guess the little one is big enough now that they could get good pics through my belly.
