Oh the cutest thing- my oldest DS, who's 3, told me last night he wanted a sister, to which I replied that we get the baby God gives us. Then I asked where the baby was growing (b/c last week I tried to explain it to him and he thought HE was carrying the baby..lol) and he pointed to my chest and said the baby was growing in my heart....awwww

I am totally joining! Just found out last week that I am pregnant. I am due October 27th (from my calcs)! This is number 3 and husband and I can't decide if we want to know or not!

we found out with DD - we had an amnio, so it was a definite finding-out, not a maybe...

I considered not finding out, but DH talked me into it (it didn't take much!)

Hello All-I am Andi and I am new to this board.  EDD is 10/20/09.  I will be finding out the sex but not telling everyone until after any baby showers.  I just don't want a house full of pink or blue.

hells yes!! i am not patient whatsoever, so I am definitely finding out. DH says he doesn't want to know, but once we start getting clothes in a certain color and nursery stuff, I think it'll pretty much ruin the surprise for him. Plus, I'm the one carrying it, so .

I'm a planner - literally - I work in corporate event planning, so that would be a hells yes. I tend to be overprepared for everthing, being underprepared stresses me out like there's no tomorrow so I HAVE to know

We are leaning toward learning the sex of the baby, but we'll probably put off on a name until we actually see him/her.

Oh hell yeah   It makes it so much realer to me.  Last time by 18 wks it wasn't peanut anymore... it was Harmon a precious wonderful little boy. 

Also I almost died during my c-section.  If I had waited to find out the gender that would have been very anti-climatic.

i have my first doc apt. next wednesday and im really nervous  and for the QOTD yes I plan on finding out as long as the little one sticks

yes and i can't wait!! we found out last time at the 13wk u/s...so maybe we will be lucky again!  if its a boy we are leaving the nursery the same..i love it caden lane jack bedding and walls painted with matt and sheen blue alternating stripes! and chocolate brownn   so if its a little princess then i'm going all out girly!!

QOTD: Mmmm. not sure about this one. We found out both times before but this time I kinda want to be surprised, it can only be 1 of 2 things lol! We will probably cave in and find out again, but in my thoughts I think it would be fun to wait.
