Flat temps suck! (low progesterone?)

I know it's still a little early to hate my chart, but I'm pretty sure I O'd on CD14 and so far I have the lamest temp shift ever. If I don't see a 98 point something tomorrow I'm going to scream.

Last cycle my chart looked exactly like the charts that TCOYF uses to show examples of low progesterone - hovering around the coverline through my whole LP.

My OB said at my m/c followup that she didn't think low progesterone was a problem for me, because she could still see my corpus luteum kicking away on my ultrasound. But if my chart this cycle looks like the last one, I think I am going to call her about this.?

I would say you O'd on CD12 or CD13.  CD12 is your dip day and CD13 is the first rise.  That's when ff always tells me I O'd...on the dip day or at a slight rise in temps.

I haven't done much reading on how low progesterone is tied to temps so I can't be much help there.  But good for you for being proactive.  I'm not sure I would have made the connection.  Like the pp said, keep us posted.

Ibis- I had flatter temps with my 2nd bfp.  Last month, I used the progesterone supps and they made it almost identical to my bfp chart w/o the supps.

Progesterone does make your temp higher, which is why it affected my chart by taking the supps. It make a bfn chart look like a bfp until I stopped taking them.  If you are concerned, I would give her a call and ask that she test your levels. Supplements can be started any time after O and a lot of ladies have to wait until they get their bfp to get the prescription. GL!

does your BBT round to the nearest tenth?  Mine went to the nearest 100th so my chart looked like it moved around a lot more than it really did at some points.

the 100th does make a real difference! Mine is to the 100th but I was marking it on my chart at the 10th (round up when needed) until this cycle. Since I am using FF now, and it is easier to enter all those numbers, that is what I am doing.

I believe if they do the 7dpo b/w they can tell if your progesterone is too low.
