I feel really bad, I haven't been exercising much. It's been raining really hard and I work a lot so I couldn't fit it in my schedule. Anyone else not doing much exercise or is it just me??
I used to exercise religiously but since Ive gotten pg Ive been to tired to do it as much. I definetly cut back and I dont feel guilty because obviously my body is trying to tell me something. It probably needs more rest than exercise at this point
Last pregnancy I ran (then sped-walked) almost daily up until around 39 weeks. This time, I never got back into a work-out routine before getting PG again.. I might do prenatal water aerobics again (that felt awesome!!) but I'm not sure I'll have the time...
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
I am lucky if I can keep my house clean. Since getting PG I have been sick and dealing with a lot of back and abdominal pain. My dr ordered me to take it easy...so I can't feel that guilty I suppose.

I guess I feel guilty because I haven't been feeling sick and my doctor told me to exercise more since my check up last month. Have another check up this Wednesday. Well she already banned me from eating white carbs, sugar, and potatoes! But I'm not allowed to gain any weight so maybe I'm hoping I don't get another scolding because of my lack of exercise. And nope, I'm not terribly overweight, just a few pounds. I just have a tough doctor.?

Yes please kick me in the butt and make me go workout! haha I guess maybe I could go tom. We will see.
I have had no energy! I can't do much but work and come home..my Dh has been cleaning and cooking since I have been so tired I want to go to bed almost as soon as I get home...I can't wait til the first trimester is done
I haven't been exercising either, and I don't feel bad about it. I am too tired and am lucky if I can pick up around the house/do dishes/etc. That's enough exercise for me after working all day. 2nd tri should be better. More energy, etc. Just watch what you eat and follow what your body wants. I read Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy and it goes on about how you shouldn't worry about crazy workouts. You are going to gain, no matter what and she believes it doesn't really make a difference when it comes to labor. A walk around the block is good enough for me. Just need to get past the 1st tri and cold weather. Now my mom, another story. She is already on my a$$ about not gaining weight, working out. She had a tough time losing after me and my bro. Times are different, though, and I am not "eating for two" like she probably did. Plus, it is hard for her to tell me to do all this when she is way overweight and doesn't take her own advice. I'm not even overweight.

Oh man - I'm SOO tired ALL the time, I have absolutely no energy for exercising. I can't even keep the dishes clean... I take naps, and sleep like a bay at night! My hubby and I thought we'd go walking once I got pg, but I have no energy plus I haven't been eating much, so we've been couch potatoes. And we love it.
i was until this head cold struck me down. i hope to get back into it once the cold it gone, it felt really good to move. the old me would have exercised with the head cold, but i don't want to risk it being so newly pg.
I'm typically a 6-day per week, fairly strenuous exerciser, and between getting the flu in week 3 and finding out I have a hernia in week 4, I have only been to the gym once since I got my BFP!
I'm a long distance runner who also boxes and lifts weights and my doc has told me no running, boxing or heavy lifting until we confirm that the inguinal hernia will be fine and because I had one incident of brown spotting over a week ago (at 11 DPO!). He seems super conservative, but I'm going to listen to him. So...a little guilt about not at least doing elliptical/walking and light weights, but whatever...I have plenty of time to start TOMORROW!
I feel guilty, too! Physically I don't feel horrible, but getting myself to the gym just hasn't happened since my BFP. My schedule's been a little strange since, then, but that's not a good enough excuse. Ugh! Today?
If I had ay energy at all, I would, but I am so exhausted I have to listen to my body I think. I lost weight from the MS so I am just trying to get back to a healthy weight at this point and do my yoga stretches. I am sure we will all feel better once the weather warms up. ?
Definately not alone in not getting in much exercise. I really miss, I used to be able to go for 90 minutes 5 nights a week, but that was before I was married and working 40 hours a week. I try to fit in 2-3 nights a week of pilates. It's only about 20 minutes and I even do it sometimes right before bed. But still I want more! I'm tired of being tired all the time
I've also felt super guilty about this... I am so tired when I get home from work I just want to lay around. I'm hoping it will get better in the second trimester!

I am a lazy slug and I love it.
The only exercise I have energy or necessity for is sex, and that seems to be keeping my thighs in my jeans thus far, so I'ma gonna stick with it.

my goal, once it warms up some, is to at LEAST walk around campus a few times a week.
I plan on *MAYBE* trying to do the eliptical tomorrow. I need to do it twice a week....
