Speaking of Dry Cleaners

I had a pile of DH's shirts that need to be dry cleaned.  I asked DH to take them to the cleaner.  They started out by the laundry room.  After staying there for about a week I moved them into DS's car seat in the garage (DH has a company car and can't leave the car seat in it so he has to come home after dropping him off and take out the car seat).  I figured he'd put them in his car and remember to take them to the cleaners.

Somehow they ended up in the back of my car!  We went to the grocery store on Sunday so DH took them out and put them back in the house on the couch.  And now they are back where they started next to the laundry room.  I don't think they'll ever actually make it to the cleaners.

  • MH went to Vegas in August (he only wears suits to Vegas b/c he thinks he's Danny Ocean) and came home w/ 3 smokey nasty suits. ?He took them to the dry cleaner AND THEY'VE BEEN THERE EVER SINCE. ? 6 months. ?So that's just as bad :)
  • I have a bag of dry cleaning that has migrated quite a bit, but not as much as yours!

6 months is a long time.  Are you sure they haven't donated them?  That's usually what they do with clothes that aren't claimed.

  • Not my problem-- he is a grown up and should have picked them up by now (or used our regular clear-- the one that delivers)
