Ok, so I just got through ironing all of my husbands work clothes as well as both kids clothes. ?My question is, do you iron your kids clothes? ?Am I strange? ?I iron everything except jean and sometimes those as well. ?And yes, I do promptly remove them and hang them up, the do not sit in the dryer. ?I just love it when they look nice and put together.

Re: Poll: Ironing
If my DH wants stuff pressed he has to send it to the drycleaners. I refuse to iron, as I was made to iron every.damn.thing I owned in high school.
Liam is 5!
I dont even own an Iron...I just fluff things up in the dryer with a wet towel
I iron all of DH's work clothes and most of DD's dresses. For some reason, all her denim skirts come out of the wash all jacked up, so those get ironed too.
I hardly every iron my stuff though.
Ditto!!
I hate to iron. I make DH buy wrinkle free shirts and pants.
I used to iron and starch DH's uniforms until I realized that you really can't tell the difference once he's put on the 27 different layers of his uniform (he's a cop and has to wear a bulletproof vest, etc.). So I don't even iron that anymore.
I only iron DD's clothes if it they're super wrinkly. But most of her stuff is knit cotton and really doesn't need to be ironed. I still think she looks nice and put together. I'll do the Downy Wrinkle spray before I iron them.
LOL. For some reason this is hilarious to me.
I have ironed one of DD's dresses, only because she was getting pictures taken in it. It hasn't been ironed since.
DH irons his own clothes if he wants them ironed.
I iron my button down shirts and dress pants if they need it. Nothing else in my closet gets ironed.
When I do laundry the clothes sit in the dryer and then sit in a laundry basket for a while. Then they sit folded in the laundry basket. Sometimes we actually wear all the clothes again before I put them away.
I cannot imagine ironing every piece of clothing we own. Do you iron your sheets too?

I iron a few times a year. I have never ironed any of Ryan's clothes. I feel like a slob.

Ditto Angela. But if DH wants his stuff ironed (weddings, interviews, funerals, and that's about it) I usually do it.
I used to work in a bridal shop and had to press/steam the gowns, so I iron everybody's wedding dresses. And I sew, so I press out a lot of fabric & seams.
I only iron stuff that needs to be. Dress shirts and pants on the day we need them.
Every once in a blue moon I'll iron something for DD if I made the mistake of buying something that wrinkles and it's just tooo cute for her to NOT wear it.
I iron for myself maybe once every other week. I avoid buying things that require ironing. Or I dry clean those that do.
I occasionally iron pants for DH, if I don't want to pay to have them drycleaned.
This post makes me feel sooooo much better!
I have ironed a few things for ds but it is rare! I can count on both hands the items of clothing.
I iron dh's shirts/pants for work maybe once or twice a month when I'm feeling nice.
I iron something for myself mabye once every two months (usually when dh and I have a date night, lol).
My mom also irons everything. She does it for about 3 hours every week I would say. My poor friend in Italy didn't have a dryer for a while (it is considered a luxury) and she was ironing about 5 hrs a week b/c they had to iron everything; even the towels!!! For the birth of her second son, her 'push present' from her dh was a dryer, lol!
