How to - Beans and eggs

I was hoping to get some advice on how to prepare beans and eggs for my son.  I tried the egg yolk the other day with peaches and my son was aghast!  What ways do you prepare beans and egg yolks?

How did you make the beans to the right consistency, in a food processor?

Thank you in advance.

  • DD loves eggs!  I boil the egg and then mash it w/ a fork.  She likes it mixed in her oatmeal or yogurt. I haven't tried beans yet

  • I give DD scrambled eggs once in a while.  She is OK with them. I think she is getting used to the texture.  I am hesitant on beans cause they have skin and so for now I just mush them up w a fork after I cook them for a long time.
  • We just scramble egg yolk with milk and then sprinkle some cheese.  By beans do you mean green beans or things like black beans?  DS eats both as table food, he loves black beans.  When he was on purees I would just put green beans in the food processer and gradually add water until it was smooth.

  • I tried hard boiled egg mashed into cereal and my son hated it.

Then I tried scrambled egg yolk, and he loved it. I just make it little pieces, and egg is so soft it's ok. He eats it as a finger food.
