Initial appointment results?

Hello! I happened to have an OB/GYN appointment scheduled last Thursday, the same day I got my BFP (lucky!). They took urine and blood tests, and I'm just wondering what will come next. Will they call me to confirm that I'm pregnant, do you think? And let me know any other results, like my beta levels?

I was in such a daze that day, I didn't even think to ask them what to expect. I'm going back in March 13 for the first u/s, but didn't know if I should hear anything between now and then (and didn't want to bother the DRs office if I don't need to).

You should definitely call the doctor, don't worry about bothering them they WANT you to call with your questions!  Good luck!

i usually only get a call if something is wrong or urgent. if you dont hear anything there was prolly nothing to tell!

They will generally only tell you beta levels if you have had a prior pregnancy loss and you would have already had another appointment scheduled to have another blood draw.

With my OB, no news is good news.

They probably won't call.  And unless they specifically told you they were going to draw a beta, they probably didn't.  If they set up an ultrasound appointment for you, I'm sure they are confident that you're pregnant.  It's a long wait so if you have questions for your doctor, you should definitely give them a call...you're not bothering them.  Did they give you any pregnancy information during that appointment?
