how much cereal at 6-7 months?

If I let him I think he'd eat the whole 1/4 cup "serving size" that the box suggests. That seems like a lot of food, plus a fruit or veggie cube on the side.

How much does your LO eat? We started one meal / day at 5 months and worked up to 3, but "lunch" is just 1 cube of veggie and 1 cube of fruit. He's getting cereal/fruit in the morning and cereal/veggie at night.

DS is 7 months and he gets 3 tablespoons of cereal in the morning with 2 tablespoons of fruit.  He acted like he wanted more for awhile so I made 4 tablespoons for a few mornings but he never seemed to touch that extra bit.  He has a container of stage 2 fruits for lunch and a container of veggies (or a jar meal) for dinner.

DD is 7 mo. and for breakfast she gets 5 tbsp. of oatmeal, plus 1/2 jar fruit.  Lunch is protein (chicken/lentils), 1/2 jar veggie, plus 1/3 jar additional veggie and 1/3 jar fruit (dessert).  Dinner is 6 tbsp. of rice, plus 1/2 jar fruit and 1/2 container yogurt.  Before we started yogurt, she was getting 8tbsp of rice.  I haven't actually tried the 1/4 serving size, b/c that sounds like a lot, and she eats right after she has her bottle.  HTH!

Just in case, I had to look it up, 1/4 cup = 4 tbsp.  DD has been eating solids since just after 4 months.  She has 1 - 1.5 tbsp of barley and1 container 1st foods veg.  and 1 - 1.5 tbsp of oatmeal and 1 container 1st foods fruit

Mine's just about to be six months, and she's been eating 1/4 cup plus half a jar of baby food (fruit) for a few weeks now. She only eats this much once a day, though. At night, she'll take some veggies.
