Okay so trying new foods is one thing, but DH is seriously setting this kid up to be a food snob. And this weekend in particular, the boy was spoiled rotten.
Friday night, he had Shephard's Pie, which DH makes in individual little custard cups for him.
Sat night, we went to a dinner party held by DH's old boss and his wife, who we're very good friends with. PAC devoured a huge piece of foie gras, several pieces of seared tuna and a big plate of veal chops and risotto.
Yesterday, DH made him banana waffles with a maple-syrup bananas forester on top. PAC ate almost 2 entire waffles. And last night, he had turkey fritters--ground turkey mixed with acorn squash, apples, peas, and a few other things.
I can't manage to make him anything more exciting than grilled cheese or PB&J sandwiches. I take solace in the fact that he likes playing and cuddling with me more, lol.
