About a week ago dd started waking up just about every hour at night and whining. I suspect her top teeth are coming in because her gums look swollen. I hate giving meds, but the lack of sleep is getting really bad. I tried Hyland's tablets and gel, but nothing seems to work. Did anyone give tylenol at night to help with teething discomforts?

We used to give Tylenol to help with the teething.  I felt bad doing it as it usually tended to be several nights in a row but she got a lot of relief out of it.

tylenol works really well to ease the pain.  motrin works even better for the really bad nights but i see he is not old enough yet.

I use Motrin as well and only when needed.
