massage after d&e

I had a d&e on Friday.  I wanted to get a massage this week.  Did any of your doctors say anything about this not being safe??

i am sorry but i can shed no light on this...i didn't have a d&e and none of my books say anything about massage afterward.  i would love a massage too though

I had a massage two weeks after my D&C.  My doc never said anything about not getting one so I did.  It was a different kind of massage for me because I was still carrying around all the emotional stress. I did feel better after, but most of my muscles were really sore the day after the massage.  I hope yours goes well.

I had a D&E on thursday, and a massage today.  I spoke with the massage therapist, and she didn't seem to think it was an issue.  It was very relaxing.
