Eli Jameson

Eli does not have a significant meaning for me I just really like it.  James is my brothers name and thought it would be nice to honor him a little bit.  Our last name is 2 syllables, starts with an F and ends in er.

I think the name Eli is really cute! I think I'd prefer Eli James though. Jameson sounds like a last name to me.

I love love love Eli! One of my thoughts was "Elias", with Eli as the nn - but DH vetoed that one because apparently there's a hockey player whose last name is Elias, but pronounced Ellyash. Anyways. I like your choice! I like James or Jameson!

I voted, but just wanted to say I love the name.  We considered Eli James for one of our boys, but we're going with Eli Samuel. 

We thought of using Elijah for the first name and calling him Eli, but figured that we should just go ahead and name him what we want him to be called.

This. I'm a little biased though, my DH's name is Elijah. we all call him Eli though.
