Combining two single strollers

Has anyone done this? My H and I would really like to get two umbrella strollers and combine them. Sometimes we take the girls out separate, so we would like a single stroller. But I know they sell connectors to make two singles into a double. Plus, the pattern for the umbrella stroller I like only comes in a single, not a double.

We have two Volos that we sometimes combine with the connectors.  It makes it easier than dragging the double stroller on vacations.  It works fine for short trips, but I wouldn't give up my City Mini Double.

We have the Bumbleride and totally love it, but it is a pain to haul everywhere and won't really fit in my trunk. It fits in my H's SUV, though.

If we really feel like using our umbrella strollers, but want to put them together, then I use the Prince Lionheart stroller connectors. I got them online, and they were cheap. Work fine, but I agree with PP, it's only for instances where you won't be strolling them around for very long. I used them when we flew, so we only had to take umbrella strollers (who cares if the airline lost/damaged them since they are less expensive) but I could still connect them if I wanted to. So much easier than lugging a triple stroller on a flying trip. and yes, I just bought two sets of the connectors and put 3 umbrella strollers together.

We do this especially for flying, which we do a lot of. ?Totally worth $10.

When I was looking at umbrella strollers the other day.. I noticed that a couple had the connectors already... I can't remember which one I was looking at though... sorry.... might be something to look at before buying yours
