In PAIN - Sinus or Tooth issue?

I've had sinus pain for the past few days. The doctor ruled out any infection and I agree with her, but the pain is horrible. She said I had A LOT of swelling and gave me a safe nasal spray to use. I can tell that the swelling has gone down but I'm still experiencing the pain. I know it will probably take a few days but I don't want to wait to follow up if it could possibly be a tooth issue.

I have no hot/cold sensitivity and the pressure from chewing on that side actually provides relief instead of more pain. WDYT? Possible tooth issue -yay or nay?

Hmmm...I just went to the doctor yesterday for a sinus infection and also have pain in my teeth but it hurts worse when I chew.  It also hurts when I try to open my mouth.

That doesn't sound like a normal presentation for a tooth problem.  If there is a problem, usually there will be hot/cold sensitivity and/or pain with chewing.  But, if it doesn't go away by Monday it couldn't hurt to go to the dentist and get an x-ray to rule it out.

That's what I thought penguin. I'll give it a few more days to let the swelling go down more and see if I have any relief. I've never had any tooth issues before so I wasn't sure what to look for.

Severe sinus congestion can totally cause tooth pain. Happened to me when I had my sinus infection a couple months ago. It's awful!! Hang in there!

My mom recently had a nasty sinus infection said her teeth hurt and it hurt to chew, etc.  The doctor said the infection was in her maxilofacial sinus, so that made sense.  So maybe there is just still some swelling in that area?  I don't know.
