OMFG. DH forgot to pick up DD!!!

I had my annual GYN appointment this afternoon (in addition to working from home & having a freshly injured knee), so I told DH TEN BILLION EFFING TIMES he needed to pick up DD from daycare. I made him look at me and I specifically said "you need to pick up DD." HE FUCKINGFORGETS.  Mind you he picks her up 2x a week-not like this is totally out of the blue. I'm in the kitchen making dinner. He walks in and says "oh yea, I was supposed to pick up DD."

This cements the fact that he never listens. Ever. I wanted him to pick her up so he wouldn't dickaround at work and leave on time.I had him pick her up for numerous reasons.

1. I twisted my knee skiing this week and it's either severely sprained or my ACL is torn, so I'm minimizing trips/walking.
   
2. He dicksaround at work and never leaves on time. I figured he'd leave on time
3. Tonight is movie night (a DH initiative) so I figured he'd go get her while I make dinner to expidite our night-so we aren't sitting down to a movie at 9 pm.

Seriously, WTF DH.

It's only 5:45 here. He should have left at 5 to get her no later than 5:30. Thank God we have an awesome daycare provider and he didn't fuckoff at work any later.

See my post above.  Same kind of DH.  I was totally annoyed and upset too.  He does listen a little better now, but I still call him to make sure he's picked up the kids on nights I've asked him to.

Sadly this is why I email him a meeting request in Outlook so pickup will be on his calendar. He is also required to call me whenever he drops off or picks up (I usually do the same though).
