Does anyone have either the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium or the Rainforst Infant soother? Or any of the other crib soothers? Do they work? Which ones do you like/dislike??
We have the ocean wonders and DD loves it still to this day. We would play it every night when she went to bed. I now have it out of the crib because she will sit there all night turning it off and on if she could. It not sits on the floor in her room and she constantly goes over to it to turn it off and on. The only thing is the batteries got used up pretty quick.
We got the aquarium soother when DD was around 6 weeks old, and she loved it. It helped her fall asleep at night up until around 5 months. At that point, she started kicking/smacking the button to turn it on and off -- it had become a game and didn't put her to sleep any more, so we use the FP Seahorse now.
The ocean wonders was a lifesaver for us (and a nice break from all the rainforest crap around the house!). She loved it, and if she woke up during the night, often she would turn it on and go back to sleep. She got bored with it a couple of months ago, so I'd say we only used it for 3 months or so--we bought it late--but it was worth every penny!
Only downside is that the remote doesn't work through the door, so you have to at least open the door and reach around to use the remote, which is kind of pointless when you're trying to be incognito.
We have the rainforest one and it is great. DS is 11.5 months and still plays with it. On the weekends he wakes up at 6:30 turns it on himself and then goes back to sleep for 2-3 hours.

we have the aquarium, and ds turns it one and lays back down and goes to sleep. we are still using it. i just saw it at walmart on clearance for $21, oh and as pp said the remote only works directly, it does not work around a bend or through anything.

We have the aquarium and i really like it. I used to turn it on as a soother (we have the one with a remote) and now DS turns it on himself when hes playing in his crib, usually giving me an extra 15 minutes of sleep in the morning.
