ok, backstory...i've had 3 failed ivf cycles. we jumped straight to ivf because DH had low morphology. don't really think that's a problem anymore, as his last numbers came back at 5% morphology (up from 2%).
we switched REs and are doing a monitored natural cycle right now with progesterone crinone in the mornings. just got my 7dpo b/w ultrasound results back...and it appears that my uterine tissue isn't converting the way it should after O. apparently, it's structure is still that of what it would be Pre O. so, i'm adding a nighttime prog. vag. suppository starting tonight.
the interesting news is that the dr. seems to think that this might be our issue. can you believe that after going through 3 fresh ivfs that my problem might be solved just by more progesterone? i'm floored.
Re: could it really be this simple?
On the one hand, that would be great! An easy fix is definitely ideal. But on the other hand...ugh for all those wasted treatments, time and money.
i appreciate the offer, but i have to start taking them tonight. not sure if my insurance covers it or not. i think it covered the crinone, so i'm assuming that this would be covered too.
