Middle name ideas for Elliana?

DH adores this name and I'm trying to at least give it a chance (I think it's pretty but maybe a little too long/foofy for anyone to actually use it, and I prefer names that aren't easily shortened to nicknames).

Other than the standards (Marie, Lynn, Claire, Paige, Joy, Hope, Ann...), can you think of 1-2 syllable middle names that would sound good with it?

This will be my one and only girl name post of the day, I promise!

I like Raina better, too, but DH has decided he likes Elliana and Corinne better than Raina, in that order.  I like the 3 names in the opposite order, of course!

Yeah, he originally suggested Iliana, and I nixed it, but then Nymbler suggested Elliana and I somehow like that better.  Iliana doesn't have any built-in nicknames, whereas Elliana would probably be Ellie (I don't forsee anyone actually being called Illie?!), but for some reason the name seems...more accessible, I guess, and less foofy?...as Elliana.

I do like Michelle, and that's my cousin/BF's middle name.  Since she doesn't want any kids herself, it would be nice to use part of her name for Cubby Two!

I also like Paige with it.  But I only have seen it spelled Illiana too! My 2 cents and not that it counts...I like your other names better!

I would suggest Raina as a MN, but it doesn't flow. How about Rae? Renee?

 

 

Forgot to mention... I have a friend who's DDs MN is Rain. It's NMS, but thought I'd add it since it is similar to Raina.

How about using your #2 choice - Elliana Corinne? Michelle and Joy are cute too.

Since you still like Raina and he likes Elliana, could you take the beginning of his name and the end of yours for Elena? This was one of my top choices, but MH nixed it because he knew I would call her Lainey (a nickname I love and he hates.)

I thought about that, but BIL's ex was named Elena and they were together for a long time, but I think it ended badly and DH's side of the family would probably associate the name with her.  It's pretty, though, and I do like Lainey!
