lotions without vitamin E?

Hi Ladies, 

This may sound like a weird question, but can anyone recommend a belly cream that does not have vitamin E in it? At my last midwife appt., she told me not to use any lotions that have vitamin E in it, on my belly- because it could cross over into the placenta. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I can't find any lotions that are usable, and can't find any information on vit E being harmful to the fetus. I will have to get more clarification at my next appt. but, in the meantime, has anyone had their Dr. tell them this as well, or have any reccomendations of a good lotion?

i know. i am starting to wonder if i mis-heard what she said. it seems as if all lotions, even the organic ones specially made for pregnant mamas have vit E in them...oh well, i will find out at my next appt. Thanks!
