Question.. can a two year old take Vitamin C?

I thought I'd ask here before calling C's pediatrician. I just started working a few hours in the mornings at a daycare, and every single kid there has a snotty nose. I just thought I'd see if I could give C Vitamin C supplements to help prevent this. Thanks!!
