WDYT of Rocco

My mom called me the other night and goes Lindsay, I KNOW what name you should name your baby if you have a boy. So Im thinking shes going to say Henry, Or something normal like that, and she says:

"Rocco, Rocco Melendez..Doesn't that have a nice ring to it?"

And I immediatley said NO WAY, and so did DH, but the more we say it the more we kinda like it, Ive never met a Rocco before. (My mom said she knew 2 growing up and they were both good looking, haha) 

But i was just wondering what you all think, i know a lot of you like more of the traditional names, but i like the Different names, Unusual but not to crazy.

I was thinking no when I looked at the subject...but I actually kind of like it.
Isn't there a chef named Rocco Despirito or something like that? I don't cook or watch a lot of tv but it sounds familiar.

I kind of like it! Sounds good with your last name. I have taught two Rocco's. One went by Rock and the other went by Rocky.

It is a name that takes some warming up to, but I like it. It's cute and masculine which is good. I think Madonna has a son named Rocco.

it's actually a saint name. that's why madonna's son is named rocco, her daughter lourdes also has a catholic name. it's cute, not too popular but everyone has heard it. i actually suggested it on another post for someone looking for an italian name. it's cute.

I actually know a baby Rocco.  It's not my style, but there are a few of them out there in the world.  If you like it, that's the most important thing.

I know a baby Rocco too. he is soooooo cute! I like the name a lot! I thought it was funny when i first heard it but it grew on me
