Can I share some exciting news?

I found out today that we are going to be able to remodel/expand our kitchen and add a half bath. Our kitchen has the original countertops, cupboards etc. to the house which was built in 1950 and we only currently have one bathroom.

 

eek! I am so excited!

    Yeah!  we redid our full hall bath and are getting ready to redo the half bath.  It has made me love my house so much more.  Plus, we just got new garage doors and even though we're growing out of it, I'm not as on edge to move now..

    A half bath is a bathroom without a shower or tub.

    Yay!  I used to have a 1950's kitchen too.  We also remodeled one of the two 1950's bathrooms.  Money well spent :)

    Yeah, our 1920s house had the nastiest kitchen ever before we remodeled it and it's gorgeous now (PIB). If I do say so myself. :)

    Aha! A powder room as I would call it. Thanks! I vote for a pink one. Bright pink. I really want to do 1 all pink room in our place and I am thinking the only 1 I can get agreement on is a bathroom or powder room.

    How fun! I loved remodeling our house. It was built in 77 and the kitchen was a box. Not anymore! There are a couple of pics in my bio if you want to check it out.
