DS pretty much self-weaned at 13 months. My goal was a year and is a year for this one as well.

I'd love to get to a year...but we'll see what kind of milk supply I have, and what I end up doing about work. I'm not sure that I could/would be that dedicated about pumping at work if I end up coming back. I hope to be home at least 6 months before either coming back to work or finding a more flexible and/or closer to home job.
I don't want the baby to have formula (plus I am lazy & cheap) so I'd prefer to go 12mo until they go to whole milk. BUT that's only a plan...my DD#1 wouldn't latch & she was basically exclusively formula fed, DD#2 BF until 15mo, never had any formula.

I'm hoping for a year, but a lot of that will depend on supply with pumping since I'm going back to work.
I hear with the teeth issue that the first bite sucks, but after you pull the kid off, they realize that biting = no milk, so they stop with the biting. We'll see how true this is once the time comes.
The idea of breastfeeding doesn't thrill me, but I'm committed to try it for at least 4 months (which takes me to about Thanksgiving, since my baby is due on July 20th). Everyone keeps telling me that at 4 months I'll love it so much that I won't want to give it up, and if so, great - but I'm not pressuring myself to do it past that point. If I love it, great. If I hate it, well, at least I gave it a decent run and my baby got lots of antibodies. That's how I look at it, anyway.
I would love to breast feed but I produce twice as much milk then i should so i dont leak i pour....lol I had to sleep with a towel around my chest and when i would wake up it would be soaked...Not comfortable at all!
My goal was 1 year, and I was able to breastfeed my daughter until she was 15 1/2 months. I'd like to make it to a year again, possibly up to 15 months.
My goal is to nurse two years or so. I'll (hopefully) take a year off and then by the time I go back to work, maybe I'll only be nursing a couple times a day. We'll see.
Re: how long do you want to breastfeed? if you are.. POLL
My goal was and is six months. Last time I had to stop at five and a half months (supply just wasn't there) and it annoys me I didn't hit my goal!
