Sleep, Glorious Sleep

I really need to go to bed, but my dogs destroyed the bed earlier playing tug of war.  (They managed to pull the comforter, sheets, and the mattress pad off the bed.)  I'd rather nod off repeatedly on the sofa than have to go and make the bed.  Yes, I am that lazy.

  • Just think of how great it will feel to get into it after you make it.....it's worth the effort.

  • The problem is, DH is at work overnight (he's a fire fighter) so after I go to all the trouble to make the bed, all three dogs (50 lbs each) will get into bed with me and squish me over to the edge of the bed.  I hate to go to all that trouble for them to sleep in the middle of the bed!!  At least I don't have to share the sofa--they're all curled up asleep in the bed now!!!
  • Since my sleep has been so OFF lately I stay on the couch most nights, this way I can just doze while watching TV, it sucks but it's less frustrating then laying in bed WISHING I was asleep.  Not to mention I'm up to pee several times throughout the night.

PS - I thought my cats were bad hogging the bed, you've got it worse, lol
