Poll: What do you say?

I thought this was a fun topic! On my other board they are discussing different ways they say things ... heres my list:

Remote= Remote

Soda= I like to be specific i.e. coke, 7 up, sprite... when I was younger it was all "pop" but I moved out of Indiana and forgot about it lol

Pacifier- Dummy, Dodo, Paci

Bathroom= Restroom, bathroom

Cabinet= Cuboard

Miracle Whip=Mayo... I didnt grow up with real mayo

I dont like Mama or Papa, I dont mind my children calling me that when they are learning to talk but I would prefer Mommy and Daddy and then growing into Mom and Dad

Ground Beef = Ground Beef

Excuse me? = Pardon?

Crayons= Crayons (not crowns...never understood that)

Soda= Coke.  I used to call it pop but got tired of DH making fun of me.

Miracle Whip=  Never really talk about Miracle Whip.  I say, "mayonnaise," not "mayo," though.

DH = Daddy, I = Mom.  Although, at this point I'd settle for anything.    I do think it's kind of weird when a spouse says, "Mom" or "Dad" to each other instead of "your Mom" or "your Dad."  DH's parents are always referring to each other as "Mom" and "Dad."  You're not each other's parents!

Ground Beef = Ground Beef, I guess.  We usually refer to the "beef logs" sold at Meijer for cheap, as in, "Beef logs are on sale, so we're having chili."

Excuse me? = Excuse me?

beef logs? What else would someone call them? I actually don't even say "beef logs, I 'd say log of beef" lol... I cant believe I just typed that...

I also sometimes say "Please?" or "I'm sorry"  instead of "Excuse me"

Miracle Whip=Mayo...always Mayo! I can't stand Miracle Whip and would never use that name. :-)

I love Mama. I would love if Nora called me that but Mom or Mommy is okay too.
