i was thinking last night about the name rosalind/ rosaline, as in the shakespearean character. i prefer the spelling rosaline myself. i know there are different pronunciations for it but i'm not sure there's any one pronunciation everyone would presume to be correct. would you be inclined to say "roz-a-LINE" or "roz-a-LIN" upon seeing it?

I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then. ~ Alice
I would pronounce it Roz-a-LINE. Kind of line Caroline (Car-o-LINE).
Pretty name!
Ditto. I really like that name
The character's name is Rosalind (pronounced "Roz-ah-lind", not "Rose-ah-lind" or "Roz-ah-lin") and she's in the play As You Like It.
People will probably mispronounce this name.
Roz-A-Lin
a friend of a friend is named that, always thought it was a cool name, her nn is Roz
