I failed my 1 hour glucose test :/

Honestly I'm not surprised.  For months I have felt like I would pass out when I stand very much, especially in the mornings.  The doctor thought it was because I am dehydrated but I thought it was something more.  I'm pretty sure I'll fail the 3 hour.  What sucks is that I felt woozy the entire time, and came home and got violently sick.  How in the world will I sit there for 3 hours?  I also had almonds and a hard boiled egg today.  Next week I have to fast.  If I throw up how will they get my results?

Sorry to hear about that.  I failed my 1 hr and was also assuming I'd fail my 3 hour test.  But I passed it! I was allowed to have water after I had the glucose drink, so maybe you can bring ice-cold water with you? That seemed to help. GL!

Call your doc and tell them your concern with the 3 hour test.  I have PCOS with insulin resistance and have arleady talked to my doc about my concern with doing the Glucose test.  It made me so sick when I did it before i was pg I can't imagine now.  He's thinking about letting me track my sugar levels for a week instead to see how I'm doing.  They actually make you redrink the stuff if you throw up (i asked last time).
