I got my electric bill and it said I owed them $1456.78

uhhhhhh I know I did a lot of laundry but no way! So I called them and they don't know why I got such a crazy bill but they are sending out someone to fix my meter and I have to pay last month's bill again. Which is good cuz that one was only 78.90

OMG.  I would have DIED.  Our thermostat went crazy when we were in NY (for a WEEK) for Christmas, and it was 94 degrees in the house when we got home, and I stressed about my bill for the entire 5 weeks until it came.  It was insane, but SO much less than I thought it was going to be.

DH called the company, and they are "researching" into adjusting it, since it's so off our normal trend.

Glad they are taking care of it so quickly.  That's freaking NUTS.

I was on the verge on throwing up. I was like uhh I think something is wrong with my bill, it's about 1400 too much. He laughed and I was said no really, look. So he did and had his boss call me right away. Thank goodness. I'm not hot- I can't 'work the corner' like I'd have to if that was our actual bill- it's more than my rent! lol
