I'm assuming the 4t is made roomier for a diaper. I was excited tonight to find size 4 slim. Nora is thin and 4t's fall off of her, but she needs them for the length. I didn't buy anything, but was just curious if anyone knew for sure.
Yeah, I bought C-man a couple of size 4s with the band for his birthday a couple weeks ago and they are massssiiivve! Like length wise they are fine, but the waist and even the legs are just huge! And he doesn't need the room for the diaper.
Good lord, how tall is she? Blaire is just two months younger and just getting into a 2T. She's going to be shorter in stature, I'm sure of it. She's 34 inches tall right now. Weighs 26 lbs. I've bought her stuff on sale in 2T for this summer and few things for this winter in 3T/3. But, I quit doing that as soon as I found out that there is a 3/3T and 4/4T. I don't want to risk getting the wrong stuff and nothing fitting.
I always thought the difference in 24m and 2T was for diapers.
LOL! I'm not sure how tall she is now, but she was 36" at her 2 year appointment. The last time we went to the doctor (just two weeks ago), she was 26 lbs.
Ditto championmamma! I can't believe how big she is. She's just a few days older than Celia, but C is not even ready for 2T's. Most 24-month pants still fall off her.
Sorry I'm not more help...I honestly don't know the difference b/w 4 and 4T. The adjustable waists are awesome though!
Isn't it weird how 2 kids basically the same age, and obviously the same weight, but with 2" difference in height are so far off, sizemically (is that even a word to use?).
Maybe Blaire isn't 34". I just remember at her last appointment I was thinking gosh, the stuff I bought on sale in 2T is sized for 32-36" and I hoped she'd be able to wear it. She probably had just hit a growth spurt, but I don't anticiapte her being over 36" before summer's end. Chris and I are not tall people. He's 5"11 and I'm 5"5.
Hey I am jumping into this one a bit late. I'm not sure what the differences are, but all Old Navy jeans come with an adjustable waistband. It is the only place I get my son's jeans (he wears a 4T) and they hold up very well & still keep their color after many washes.

Re: Difference between 4t and 4?
They do have boy's slim! In the girls, they even had an adjustable waist band, which I thought was excellent. I can't always find that in a 4t.
