hypothetical situation

Your favorite local radio morning show is going to be at your work tomorrow. They will be on the air from 6a-9a.  The head honcho and marketing department will be there to greet the DJs at 5am.  You are the only IT person available.

Do you:

1. Go in at 5am for donuts and chit chat
2. Go in at 6:30am for donuts
3. Go in at 9am and miss all the hype.

Could there be potential IT related problems at 5 am?

If so, I would go in to schmooze the boss, marketing and radio peeps. There could be future kudos in it for you "Well, gosh sir, I just thought I should pop in just in case something happened"

There could also be free radio give-aways or you could get on air...maybe they will be low on material and you could be a funny sidekick!

I would need some serious sleep though, to make a 4am wake-up happen....

This morning, they half ass announced someone coming in for a private show in March. He wouldn't say who because there was still one more piece of paper to be signed.  Supposedly, it's their biggest guest yet.  Maybe I can find out who, to see if I'm interested.
