Took ampicillin for most of pregnancy?

Were there any effects short or long-term to the baby post delivery?

I know that the mom can get yeast infections during the course of treatment but can the baby develop a resistance of some sort or other things?

    I was on it several times during my pregnancy because I kept getting bladder infections.  I researched it at the time and don't recall any post-delivery risks to the baby and I haven't observed any.  She's only 2, but she's been very healthy (knock on wood!).

    I believe it's the bacteria itself, not the person, that develops a resistance to antibiotics.  Have you discussed it with your doctor?
