Multiples

What type of monitor do you use?

I posted this on my local board and most of the women swear by the Angel Monitor because of the sensor pad.  I'm not sure this would work with multiples since one could stop moving and as long as the other is moving, the pad wouldn't notice anything wrong.  Also, what about when you separate them into 2 cribs, then I would need two. I'm guessing this isn't a practical monitor for twins.  Please recommend the monitor you use.  I'm so confused of which one to get.  Thanks!

Re: What type of monitor do you use?

  • Karen - We have the Graco iMonitor Video Vibe Digital Monitor and it does the job for us.  We only registered for one from our shower and it works great since both of the babies are in the same crib right now.  Once we start putting them in separate cribs we will buy a second one.  The monitor is small and can clip onto our pants.

  • we will be using the angel care with the twins - in separte cribs/bassinets. it's the only thing that allowed us to sleep peacefully when dS was a baby - bc we didn't have to worry if he was breathing.

and the handfull of false alarms we have had in almost 2 years are worth all the hours of peace (we still use it for DS - and love it!)
