S/O: Do Luvs run small?

I recently tried Luvs for the first time, and I bought a pack of size 4 thinking I'd knock out two birds with one stone -- trying a new diaper and a bigger size. The size 4 Luvs were almost exactly the same as the size 3 Cruisers, so I bought a pack of size 4 Cruisers and noticed they were bigger than the Luvs.

Anyone else notice this?

I used them for a couple months (until they rubbed her raw!) but I didn't notice them being smaller.

I find them to be the same size as Huggies or Pampers.  DD and DS both wear size 4 and they fit like the Pampers Cruisers I used to buy them.

I've thought the same thing as you, KristinKD!  DD is about the same size as your DD, just a little bigger, and she is in the Cruisers size 3 with PLENTY of room to grow in them.  The size 3 Luvs, not so much.  I haven't tried the size 4 Luvs yet.

Okay, katy, so maybe I'm not crazy?!

I should take a picture. I swear the size 3 Cruisers and size 4 Luvs are the same size.

I guess I haven't noticed because I don't go by the poundage, just by how they fit DD.  I guess technically she should still be in a size 4 for her weight, but she was leaking out of them overnight.

Hmmm, maybe that's it. I haven't used any other diapers, and I guess I just assumed that the Pampers were sized correctly.

I switches from Baby Dry to Luvs and thought the fit and size of the diaper was pretty similar.  I think Huggies run smaller than Pampers or Luvs.
