All came back normal!
The HSG was the most intense cramping pain for about 3- 5 minutes of my life! I felt fine aftewards but OWWWW!!!!!. My doc wants to see me for an "endometrial biopsy" in a week or so. My DH still has to do the SA. We most likely will be referred to an RE once the testing is done. My insurance doesn't cover any assisted procedures which sucks. We will see what our next steps are.
He also said he has known many women who got pregnant after the HSG. It may clear things out in your tubes. I hope I am one of of them!!
Re: HSG and bloodwork results
i got pregnant the month we did our hsg.
unfortunately it ended in m/c but i think I'm dealing w/ other issues since it was my second m/c.
but the possibility is definitely increased!?
glad it's normal! it's worth the pain to get some answers!
do you have a short luteal phase? is that why doc is doing the biopsy? i have a short lp too but my RE has YET to mention the biopsy.?
peztopper. I am so sorry about your m/c.
I do not have a short luteal phase. My doctor said it was to ensure ovulation was occuring? It was a blur and I am not sure I fully understood why I needed the test. I need to google it! LOL! The biopsy is scheduled in less then 2 weeks.
I am not at an RE yet. My obgyn does all the intial if testing.
I had my HSG on the 15th of December and became pregnant on my DH's birthday 12/29!!! The Dr also said that it may have helped since we'd been trying for close to 3 yrs!!!! The procedure wasn't bad for me at all....just happy it seemed to have created a path to create our miracle!! Good luck!!
