3cm dilated and 75% effaced...

And the doctor thinks I am still going to go past my due date ...i was only 1cm dilated last week that must mean something! This waiting game is kiling me and I feel like I have been off of work forever. I stopped working 2 weeks ago thinking I would at least have my baby on time now they are looking to induce me a week late which would mean I was off of work for a month before the baby. I can't take this waiting...11 more days is like a lifetime. Ugh! The doctor could be wrong...right?

I'm going into my second week like that as well. I know what you mean about work, my last day was the 6th and I'll probably go late also. It's just a waiting game at this point...

The dr could be totally wrong! They have no idea what will happen. At my last appointment, my dr said that my cervix was high and closed and that I would in know way be having the baby at any time soon. Well, on Friday I went into early labor (two days after my appointment) and had dilated and thinned out. Anything can happen....they can only make educated guesses. :-)
