We have a really sloped driveway, so when DD rides her trike or bike, we do it in the garage (if one of the cars is gone) or down on the sidewalk.
Yesterday her little friend (and his Mom) were here for a playdate and they were both riding in the garage. I looked away for a second and then heard the unmistakeable sound of her speeding down the driveway on her trike.
She (luckily) torqued the handlebars and went into the grass (which is also sloped) and started bouncing through the grass. Of course, though the wheel got stuck in a rut and she went flying over the handlebars and the trike ended up on top of her (it's my old trike so it's kind of a weird top-heavy thing).
I ran as soon as I heard her, but couldn't catch her in time.
She was fine, just scared. . . so in light of that. . . it was hysterical to see her boucing along through the grass on the little red trike.
