A couple weeks ago I asked for cookbook rec's and someone suggested this one.
I'm on Amazon right now looking to order it but there are a few... can anyone tell me which one it is??
Williams-Sonoma Bride & Groom Cookbook: Recipes for Cooking Together
The Bride & Groom First and Forever Cookbook
The I Do Cookbook for the Bride and Groom
Re: bride & groom cookbook question
I'm not sure, but the fourth option down-- The Bride and Groom's First Cookbook-- is the one I got for my wedding and I am really not a fan at all. There are no pictures in the entire book and it's really not realistic cooking. To me, it was a book full of recipes for really fancy food that most normal people don't eat on a regular basis. Way too gourmet for me. I am selling our copy in our neighborhood garage sale this June.
Although, if this is the book someone recommended as a good one, keep in mind that I am not the best cook and maybe I am misusing it
.
I'm pretty sure I have the Williams Sonoma one and I have the same thoughts as teacherjess - a little too gourmet for everyday cooking, not exactly the normal food you prepare on a day to day basis.
But it does have some good tips for entertaining and a few good recipes in there. I probably never would have purchased it for myself, but there are some good things in there.
