How did everything go with your babysitting situation this weekend?

    Oh, I think it's okay now, thanks.  We ended up taking her to my in-laws to hang out with her cousins while we were at dinner. I think my mom is a little upset with me and my dad cause we were both ticked off at each other and she got stuck in the middle. I invited her down for a visit yesterday but she declined. Oh well.  I don't want my folks to think we prefer my in-laws over them or vice versa.  Blah grandparent politics.

    Glad everything worked out.  I know what you mean about grandparent politics.  I live across the street from my ILs and my mom lives 2 hours away.  Major jealousy issues!  But there is really nothing you can do to make it seem fair.
