It seems everyone has a different definition of "co-sleeper". ?Does the baby sleep in the bed with you? Or in a?bassinet?in your room? Or in a bedside crib that attaches to the bed? Our DS sleeps in a bassinet beside our bed and will until he grows out of it but we never considered this as a "co-sleeping" arrangement.
Re: What is a "co sleeper"?
that is most definitely co-sleeping.
most people mis-use the term to mean bed sharing. bed sharing is one kind of co-sleeping, but not the only kind. basically if your kid is in your room you are co-sleeping.
and this is a Co-Sleeper

Thanks! I don't know why, but I never thought about it that way. Maybe it's just so common here that the baby sleeps in the same room as the parents until 6 months that I thought co-sleeping must mean bed sharing since it seems to get a rise out of so many people.
Also, brideofaussie, were you ever a regular poster on the international newlyweds board? Your name seems familiar.?
